I saw the movie on a premium channel. It was terrible. I'm glad I didn't pay to go see it in the theater.

You must be the only one on the bloody planet who feels that way. It made an offensive amount of money and made 50 year old women (and men) lust after a 17 year old boy to the point of it being criminal.

Good lord... is this the kind of garbage movie goers have to contend with until the producers FINALLY realize what poorly written schlock these books are? Apparently all it takes to be a 'star' these days is to appeal to women's repressed sexuality.

I wish women would demand higher quality products... instead, they get all excited about a faux-native american 'werewolf'. Puh-leaze...

UH who cares! Those movies suck!!

Fat pathetic suburban housewives will be out in droves for this, watch out for the mini van crowd!

Those 50 year old women and men really need to get a life.

I've seen these movies with my grandson and yes Please is about right. Has anyone watched the crap they are calling movies??? These are no worst then all the others. Did I love it? No. Did I feel like kids should not be watching it? No. Would I go to a convention? No. But come on people, more than half the movies coming out suck!!!

Wow, this mini van mama was looking at Dr. Cullen & Billy Black! And I do think we understand that it is just a little mind candy - not the end all be all of movies & books. I tried to re-read Wuthering Heights after the first Twilight novel & guess what? I thought that sucked too. Who is to say what is 'classic' and what is 'drivel' Edward said it best - I'm not impressed with antiquity just because it is old. [or there abouts.]

Wow, sounds like some of the folks posting these comments are the ones a little "repressed" and in need of "a life". Does someone feel the need to bash others in order to make themselves feel better...hmmm. Oh well, we can take it...after all, we are actually happy and fulfilled. Try a smile, it may take all that bitterness out of your mouth. :)

Great, these dorks have a convention too. Maybe they can coordinate with the Trekkies. (No offense to the Trekkies meant)

I love how you all hated the movie and think the people who like it are "pathetic" yet you took the time to read the article and comment. Please get a life and hate on something that really matters.

I am so horrified that people would speak so horribly of Edward. I have been in love with him since I first laid eyes on him. I have his poster on my ceiling in the bedroom, so at night I can just lay and stare at him. He's sooooo beautiful. Actually that's not true, but why complicate things by trying to dissect them. Just enjoy beauty where you can, and enjoy entertainment, and fun as much as you can. This is just a great pastime and so many people love and enjoy the series, myself included---and for the record, I am 60 and my grandson is 12, and we went together to the movie with my 35 year old daughter. What fun we had!!!! Lighten up people.

The "haters" are men who don't like their wives lusting after good looking younger men... look in the mirror!! We've been dealing with that kind of crap for a Century!!!
Get over your jealousy, enjoy your Baywatch, and let us enjoy our Edward!!!

The only things weirder than going to this convention is knitting and living alone with cats.

Wow! What's with you people? I agree that the movies aren't too fabulous. But where's all the hate coming from? The people I know (men and women both) who are fans are not fans because of Robert Pattinson's sex appeal or Taylor Lautner's abs. We're fans of the story and get excited to see it come to life onscreen, even if it is a very poor representation. You don't have to participate in this trend- that's the great thing about America! So what's the big deal?

My cousin and I are going. We hate "Twilight," so we're going to wear our "Harry Potter" house ties and look confused.

Not really feeling sparkly enough to go. Sorry....

Obsessing about a football team and wearing team colors (like you were playing!) is any better?
Twilight is a great bonding adventure for girls, moms and grandmothers, and forward thinking guys.
I'm going to the Twilight Convention, sounds awesome and the rest of the tour dates have been packed with folks having a great time.
People who criticize are losers, go watch your sports teams and idolize sports stars who are souped up on steroids or busy getting busy with barmaids.

I'm saving my money for ComicCon.

My daughter and I bond over watching basketball games, but it's still the same type of bonding. But instead of watching vampires, we watch JJ Redick. He's every bit as hot as Edward, if not more. Women need mindless gorgeous men every now and then, no matter what genre they come from.

All you hecklers out there are wasting your time. Get off the blog you have no business being on.
Obviously you're a workless wonder with nothing better to do!
