Top chefs take center stage at show

If you are ready to explore the newest designs, colors and innovations in the world of kitchens and baths, you are in luck. The Southern Kitchen & Bath Show is Aug. 28-30 at The Park, formerly the Charlotte Merchandise Mart. And this is a two-fer, folks. The show is held in conjunction with the Southern Ideal Home Show and one ticket takes you into both events.

In fact, the same ticket also buys you cooking classes, conversations with top chefs and tempting tastes of gourmet goodies. And, it’s an $8 ticket if you buy in advance; or $9 if you wait until show time. Such a deal.

Who will be cooking for you? The line-up is impressive, and includes chefs Chris Coleman, McNinch House; Greg Thompson, Morton’s the Steakhouse; Luca Annunziata, Passion 8; Geoff Bragg, The Pewter Rose; Tulsi Pai, Soma Indian Grill and sous chef Luke DeBisschop from The Pewter Rose. Plus, don’t miss long time favorite culinary expert, and food and wine educator Heidi Billotto.
