Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre will once again transform into Margaritaville this spring.Live Nation announced this afternoon that Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band will perform at the Charlotte venue at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 21, as part of the singer's "Welcome to Fin Land" Tour.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, and charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000.

I have never ate a this buffet. And this is the first time I have heard of a traveling buffet. Do they use the same cooks on tour? And is the food the same at each stop?
ReplyDeleteWow! I saw Jimmy at Carowinds in concert in the spring of 1977. He had a broken leg, and performed in a cast while sitting on stool on-stage. The show must go on! Back in those days, he was a Top 40 favorite with "Margaritaville," etc.

I was also at that 1977 show and have seen him several other times too. The last time was at verizon and it was not too good. I feel the venue is too big for his type of music, but it is all about the big crowd and the big pocketbook when they leave.
