YES -- the English progressive rock band best known for '70s-/'80s-era hits like "Roundabout" and "Owner of a Lonely Heart" -- has announced "a mini-tour of very special intimate performances" that will hit The Fillmore Charlotte on Friday, March 25.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. this Friday at LiveNation.com, the Fillmore Charlotte box office, Ticketmaster or charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000.
YES will feature the lineup of guitarist Steve Howe, bassist Chris Squire, and drummer Alan White, as well as Oliver Wakeman (son of original YES member Rick Wakeman) on keyboards and lead singer Benoit David.

So who--other than Oliver Wakeman--isn't an original member? Or, put another way, is this band basically the same as the hit-making machine?

irony: partially assembled 40 year old group cashing in on their name in a club co-opting the name of 2 legendary venues that closed 40 years ago.
