Fantasia is bringing her very first headlining tour to Charlotte this fall.
The 30-city "Back to Me" tour will begin on Nov. 4 in Richmond, Va., and stops at Ovens Auditorium on Wednesday, Nov. 17. This will be the 26-year-old High Point native's first public appearance in the Queen City since her suicide attempt in August, which came just days after the story about her affair with a married Charlotte man was splashed all over the tabloids.
"I'm so excited about this tour and having the chance to connect with my fans, the people that love me and have been supporting me through everything," she said in a statement. "This tour is going to be a real special, intimate experience for them and for me."
The eight-time Grammy nominee's tour will support her third studio album, "Back to Me," which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard R&B Albums chart and No. 2 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart.
Fans can sign up at FantasiaOfficial.com to receive up-to-date tour information and details on pre-sale opportunities. Opening the show for the Season 3 winner of Fox's "American Idol" will be three-time Grammy Award nominee Eric Benet and Grammy-winning singer/songwriter/producer Kandi.

A BIG NO THANKS!!!
Fantasia your album is GREAT! See ya there.
This will be the only city where she sells more than 2 dozen tickets.
Who Cares? Is she going to try to
"kill herself" agian to sell tickets. Like she did for her album.
Some of charlotte people are the most mean angry people I have ever seen in my life. We all have things that we are struggling with in this life. Stop thinking you are so hollier and thou and face your own issues. I was taught if you can't say somehing nice keep your mouth CLOSED! Fantasia can sing and her album sales are showing that people are buying her album.
Maybe she'll do us all a solid and try to knock over an East side Pizza Hut.
Has she learned to read yet?
read? as in pill bottles? take ONCE a day, not take 11 a day. count to 11 in Spanish and you'll see what I am talking about.
At least when no one shows up it's a short ride home for her.
I had the "pleasure" of waiting on Fantasia when I used to work at the Cheesecake Factory. She was arrogant and rude, and tipped like crap! For someone who supposedly has lived a hard life and remembers where she came from, she sure doesn't act like it!
She really isn't even that talented in my opinion, and I would be shocked if she gets more than 500 people to pay for tickets to her show!
