Cavalia adds more dates to uptown run

Cavalia, the equestrian and performing arts show, has extended its stay in Charlotte through Friday, May 28. Originally, the show had announced that it would close on May 14 -- although adding weeks is typical for Cavalia, which generally stays in a city until ticket sales indicate demand is slowing down.

Tickets can be purchased here, or at the box office at Morehead and Clarkson streets, just west of Bank of America Stadium.

To celebrate its 1,500th performance, a Buy-3-Get-1-Free deal is going on now if you purchase in person at the box office or by phone at 1-866-999-8111. You just need to mention the promotion code, which is "horse."

One other note: Cavalia is due in New Jersey for a run that starts June 9, so it's almost certainly not going to be extended in Charlotte beyond the 28th.

Would love to attend but the tickets are sooo expensive

Too expensive in this economy......even the so-called "cheap" (obstructed view)seats. And look at the price for Senior tickets. Are you kidding me??????

I think the biggest complaint from everyone is the price. Though, if the prices are so high, then why are they extending their stay? So that means there are a lot of economically stable people out there to purchase a decent $100+ ticket. If you are a "Horse Lover", then you better be ready for that price.
Cirque-du-Soleil tickets are even cheaper than these.
I want to go, but the price is out of my league. Sorry Cavalia, wrong time for me in this economy. Maybe next time.

I agree that the tickets are very high, but I did attend and bit the bullet on the Rendevous level tickets. The show was amazing and not something that you get to experience very often. The food and beverages provided at the Rendevous level met the high expectations that the ticket price deamanded, and the chance to go in the stables after the show was great.

What are the ticket prices? Anyone have a price breakdown?

Scrape up the money. It is a once in a lifetime show! Spectacular even if you are not a horse person. Do it!

Stop moaning and groining. Can somebody in Charlotte say something positive about anything?

there are no "obstructed view" seats.

Poor imitation of a Cirque production. They are extending the stay to try to recover costs. For a real event, fly to Orlando for a performance of La Nouba.

I sprung for horse lover seats, and have no regrets. Had I gone to the races or and Eagles concert, the costs would have been similar. I found the experience to be quite satisfying, and one of a kind.
