Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow book Charlotte show

Kid Rock will bring his "Born Free" tour to Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre on Saturday, Aug. 27, with special guest Sheryl Crow.

The announcement comes on the heels of Rock's new single "Collide," which features Crow. The two also teamed in 2001 on the hit single "Picture."

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at LiveNation.com, the venue box office, Ticketmaster or by calling charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000.

Before coming to Charlotte, Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow also will play Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion in Raleigh on Aug. 25.

Obviously some of you have never seen Kid Rock live. If you r not a fan now U would be after the show. He is Phenomenal in concert!! One of the best I have ever seen and I have been to alot of shows in my 41 years. If you don't like Sheryl Crowe then you obviously have no idea what "GREAT music" is. I am looking so forward to this show!! KID is gonna ROCK Charlotte!!!!!!!
