Kings of Leon set Charlotte summer date

Kings of Leon (of "Sex on Fire" and "Use Somebody" fame) will play Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Charlotte on Friday, Aug. 5.


The band -- which is touring in support of its fifth album, "Come Around Sundown," and recently headlined the Coachella music festival -- will be supported by opening act Band of Horses.

Suckage. I can't believe the Black Keys opened for them. should have been the other way around.

Suckage? Really? I went last year and all three bands that performed were amazing. Granted, the Black Keys shouldn't have been the opening performers but that is what made the concert that much better. I'm excited about the concert! I can't wait.
